My work is centered around curiosity and instinct—finding compositions and moments that feel a little surprising while still being grounded in something genuine. I like to get close, shift perspective, let people move freely, and pay attention to the gestures, expressions, and interactions that might otherwise go unnoticed. There’s often a sense of play in the way I frame an image, while still allowing the person in front of the camera to feel present and recognizable.

I’m also interested in creating a body of work with rhythm and range, rather than making every image speak in the same way. Moving between color and black and white, wide environmental frames and intimate details, stillness and movement gives the photography dimension while maintaining a consistent point of view. The result feels elevated and intentional, but never overly controlled.
