I’m interested in the space between things — intimacy and distance, the physical and the emotional, what we show and what we feel. The moments that don’t necessarily announce themselves: a glance, a gesture, two people existing quietly beside one another, the feeling of being held or alone, the way an ordinary object can become charged with memory.
That’s what feels especially exciting to me about Feeld. Connection doesn’t have to look one particular way. There’s room for curiosity, tenderness, and everything in between.
Some of the most meaningful work I’ve made has come from being invited into someone else’s world and giving them the space and agency to tell their story in their own way. I love finding those quieter, more human moments and translating them into images that feel lived-in rather than overly constructed.
I’ve been an observer for as long as I can remember, and I’m endlessly curious about what makes people tick — what makes someone unique, how they move through the world, and the small details that reveal something deeper about them. I love bringing those things to the surface through the work I create so that the audience can feel the nuance of what it is to be human.
I’d really love to bring that sensibility to this project — creating work that feels intimate, curious, and open, while leaving enough room for the viewer to bring their own experience to it and notice the nuance within each moment.
